Volume 10 Chapter 28: Ghosts Fear Fire?
When I had read novels in the past, especially in xianxia, there were plots that described the enemy's techniques or magic.
In them, stories of a living person or a corpse being refined so that they could be controlled by the living dead are found everywhere.
Although the description in each novel is a bit different, but what is constant is that what appeared is no longer human.
Or at least I've never seen a normal person with green skin and claws.
She smiled. Although it could be called a smile, it looked incredibly terrifying.
"You are Melody's friends? You are welcome to come play."
As she spoke it sounded incredibly creepy, like a muffled voice from a slowly played movie.
"You......are Melody's mother? You are still conscious?
She happily smiled when she heard me.
But after a moment her expression returned to normal.
"I am, good now. I was incredibly frightened at first, but I didn't realize, it was really relaxing after my body became like this."
Her mouth moved stiffly, almost like she was a puppet. But her body was much more agile.
"Do you......want to become like me? Absolutely! It's a very pleasant experience. It feels, more relaxing than ever."
"Excuse me, I don't want to change the way I look."
I quickly waived my hand and said.
"Is that so? That's a pity. Since you don't want to keep your consciousness then I can only turn you into soulless zombies."
When her voice fell, a figure rushed out from behind me and the knight sword in it's hand slashed at Melody's mother.
Well, calling her Melody's mother might not be appropriate.
Delilah · Bell (Shiki Form)
LV45
Elite Shiki Commander
Ghost Attribute
Why is there a ghost property? What sort of classification is this?
Did the Demon God who gave me the sword have this attribute? It's been too long to remember.
Melody slashed down on Deliah several times, but Deliah reached out slightly with her fingernails and kept Melody's sword back.
"Ara, you've become much more skilled~"
"Shut up!"
Melody moved back and opened the book in her hand. With a flash of light, countless water blades all moved towards Delilah.
"Don't use my mother's name to say that! My mother is a gentle person, she would never say things like that!"
"I am your mother."
Delilah laughed. With a spin, she cleaved apart all of the water blades and then accelerated to Melody!
美洛多还保持着吃惊的表情,对方却一个铁山靠冲了过来.
Melody kept her startled look as Delilah came towards her like an unstoppable force.
"Ah!"
Melody flew out, smashed into the wall and spat out a mouthful of blood.
I hurried over and poured a potion down her throat.
Just now her blood was reduced down to the last drop. It wouldn't be funny if it didn't come back.
Just when I went to save Melody, Oyado appeared behind Delilah and stabbed repeatedly with her dagger.
But what came from it was the sound of metal striking metal, and Delilah's hair moved, throwing Oyado out.
Only Oyado had been prepared. Two daggers blocked the attack, and Oyado flew through the air, only to smoothly land on the ground.
"That little girl is very strong~ If she becomes an undead assassin she will be even stronger~"
"No interest."
Oyado quietly replied.
While she was distracted, Aliyah's wolf form darted over. With a flash of red light, countless red wolves came from Aliyah causing Delilah to fall down
"AAHH!!!"
I don't know why, but Delilah was incredibly fearful of the fire wolves. She waved franticly to force the fire wolves back and quickly fled upstairs.
"See! I'm strong!"
Aliyah extinguished her body's flames and came over with a grin.
But that isn't the main point. The main point was that her ears were still very cute.
Well, I really want to touch them.
"What are you thinking, staring at my ears!"
Aliyah said as she puffed out her cheeks.
"It's nothing, I just feel that they are cute."
"......"
Aliyah blushed when she heard that, before snorting.
"But that creature seemed to be afraid of fire. Aren't ghosts afraid of fire?"
"Who knows! Maybe it's because I'm strong!"
"Uh huh, uh huh, you are very strong."
I quickly nodded.
But I knew that wasn't the case.
It seems that ghosts being afraid of fire is partly common sense. But in this world, that sort of thing isn't entirely clear to me.
But......
The result of the experiment is pretty good.
While I thought that, I increased the value of my fire attribute.
"Let's go. I think we should be able to explore the second floor this time?"
