Chapter 772: Dad, Save Me!

Boom!

Millions of Vastras spawned into the new world, rapidly moving towards the trio like a wave. And this time, the effect of the plague was neutralised by a certain flower that released pollen that counteracted the plague.

It had been conjured by Conjurer that had appeared before the trio.

Staring at the tense expressions of the three, Conjurer grinned, "Well, why don't we begin with some pleasantries?"

His figure flew back, conjuring a mystical barrier that defended against the attacks unleashed by the trio. Upon appearing high up in the sky, Conjurer stared at Stencil, "I believe you've seen this from someone you've supported just recently."

Instantly, the space behind him turned bright as a freaking sun the size of a city was conjured in an instant and hurled straight towards the trio, an imitation of Starfall.

"Shit!" Aronaut cursed in response, transforming the Relic into a sword as he activated hundreds of Core Skills, hacking at the mystical chains that had been conjured. They had wrapped around the trio, preventing them from evading the approaching sun.

"Aargh!" Stencil grunted in pain as the hair on her skin began to burn from the sheer heat unleashed by the sun, causing patches of her skin to peel off. And the moment the chains bound her, Stencil noticed her Mental Energy getting sealed rapidly, preventing her from unleashing her stronger attacks.

Left with no other choice, she could only depend on her Origin Essence. But even the strongest of these attacks failed to even dent the chains. It wasn't just her though as even Aronaut's abilities failed to destroy the chains.

All he managed to do was hack into them partially, but even more chains were conjured in response to bind him to the place.

"Gehera! Is it done?" Stencil asked in a hurry, suffocating from the heat as her lungs felt like they were on fire. She wasn't even able to keep her eyes open due to the blinding heat and light, not to mention the sheer gravitational pull that seemed intent to rip her body apart.

"I don't know!" Gehera expressed her frustrations, flailing around as the chains constricted her powers too, "I only stole a part of his power. I don't even know if he managed to sense that."

'Shit, is this the end?' Stencil too was frustrated, vexed at Conjurer that had been aiming for them all along. And now, when they fought, despite being a Level 99 System Slayer, she wasn't strong enough to face the other party.

Even though her abilities became tremendously potent after her level-up, she lacked not only experience but also the means to deal with such varied abilities in a versatile nature.

And as a Genre Representative, Conjurer had dozens of abilities with similar effects that he could switch over to easily counter her arrangements.

'If only I faced strong Systems on my own.' Stencil regretted for a moment before noticing that her mind was calm.

Strangely, she had accepted her end, for there truly was no way for her to survive this. Neither Gehera nor Aronaut had the means to change the tide of the situation. Even if they were to use all their might to break free of the chains, Conjurer could casually conjure another set of chains from a similar power system.

That would bring them back to square one once again, something that had already happened many times, which was why they were unable to counter him. Whatever they threw at him never worked a second time.

Swoosh!

All the Core Skills that Aronaut had activated before being chained down rushed towards the chains, somehow loosening them enough to allow him to slip through, instantly regaining all his abilities. He then freed Gehera and Stencil, intending to teleport somewhere in that world itself when suddenly, all the Skills failed to activate, causing Aronaut to crash into the ground.

"What...just happened?" He was shocked, stunned even.

Staring at the scene was Zaira, observing her hand glowing with varied colours. She had, in an instant, activated the same Core Skills that Aronaut had activated, using the two exact powers to cancel each other.

With that, she perfectly interfered with Aronaut's power. After all, she had data regarding all the Systems whose powers were now stored in the Relic. Only the two Systems that Stencil had created weren't in her database, preventing her from replicating those two Core Skills.

But with Aronaut neutralised, the remaining two weren't much of a threat, especially since they had to face Conjurer on their own.

Gehera took out a totem and stabbed it into the ground, unleashing a certain power that she stole from Slayer. But before the power could take effect, Conjurer conjured a separate dimension that absorbed that totem before collapsing on itself, this way eradicating the effects of the totem.

Core Skill—Skill-Breaker!

Stencil placed her hand on the ground, activating the power in full swing as she destabilised the world, destroying the effects of the Core Skills that formed its functional makeup, resulting in the world collapsing.

But an instant later, it recovered back to full stability as Zaira casually activated the necessary Core Skills to offset the damage. Even if Stencil continued to destroy the world, Zaira was able to rebuild it at a faster pace.

Moreover, destroying the world required a ginormous sum of Mental Energy, something Stencil couldn't keep up beyond a couple of activations. But as for Zaira? The required sum of Mental Energy wasn't even a fraction of what she gained in a second.

They were on a whole other level...

Bang!

Stencil slammed into the ground, coughing out blood as the mystical chains wrapped around her once again, also binding Aronaut and Gehera. And this time, the miniature sun had closed in dangerously enough that their flesh began to burn rapidly, causing her to holler in pain, almost on the verge of death, "...Dad!"

"Save me!"

"Haha, too bad, Compass Carburettor wouldn't return until three years is up. There's still enough time..." Conjurer cackled when suddenly, he noticed the surroundings dim down as the heat he was feeling from the miniature sun was no more.

He blinked his eyes, opening them in alarm to see that the sun had vanished, the chains he created had vanished, the billions of Vastras had vanished, and Stencil and group were strangely in perfect health. And most of all, standing a few centimetres away from his face was a strange entity, one sporting three pairs of arms and three heads, two of which were feminine, taking up either side of the male one.

The eyes of all three heads shot open, expressing boundless fury as they glared at Conjurer.
