Chapter 476: Can I help you with something?
Kasumigaoka Eichi was in his office reading the news that could be used as a tomorrow topic.
*Knock!* *Knock!*
Kasumigaoka Eichi heard the door of her room was opened. He was pretty surprised to see his daughter and his dammable boss who stole his daughter was here. "What are you doing here?"
"Mom is telling me to give you this bento," Utaha said and gave me a bento box.
"Oh, thank you," Kasumigaoka Eichi said with a happy smile. His eyes turned sharp when he looked at Haru and asked, "Are you going on a date?"
"Yes," Utaha said while hugging Haru's arm.
"....." Kasumigaoka Eichi gritted his teeth and sighed looking at his own daughter.
"Uncle, can we talk for a while?" Haru said.
"Sure," Kasumigaoka Eichi said.
"I'm going to go out," Utaha said since she didn't want to bother them.
"No, it's okay, you can stay," Haru said.
Utaha nodded and sat down next to Haru.
"What's wrong, boss?" Kasumigaoka Eichi saw that Haru's expression had changed.
"I want you to help me to buy a newspaper in each of the prefectures in Japan," Haru said.
"....."
Kasumigaoka Eichi took off his glasses and pinched the bridge of his nose. He looked at him and asked, "Seriously?"
"Very serious," Haru said.
Kasumigaoka Eichi was very excited when he thought that he could become the editor chief of newspapers in this entire country. "I want to ask the question again, do you have that money?"
"You might not hear from Uncle Ayase, but I have gotten a lot from my investment company," Haru said. "You can talk to him about the money. My secretary will talk to you tomorrow."
"Do you have a secretary?" Utaha asked.
Haru nodded and said, "You have seen her before."
"Really?" Utaha was pretty curious.
"I'll talk later," Haru said.
Utaha nodded and didn't talk anymore since she knew they were talking about very serious business.
"I'll handle it as soon as possible," Kasumigaoka Eichi said.
"If possible can you get a newspaper in the area of Okinawa, Kyushu, Shikoku, Hokuriku, and Tohoku first," Haru said.
Kasumigaoka Eichi raised his eyebrow and said, "It won't be cheap."
"It's okay. I have the money," Haru said. "Uncle, you should prepare since my secretary will talk about it tomorrow. You can prepare which newspaper that we're going to take over."
Kasumigaoka Eichi nodded and said, "I understand leave it to me."
"Then, we'll go out now," Haru said and stood up to walk away.
"Bye, Dad," Utaha said.
"Don't come back too late," Kasumigaoka Eichi said.
"Don't worry," Utaha said and went out together with Haru.
Kasumigaoka Eichi took out his laptop and started to work. His blood was boiling when he thought that he could control most of the newspapers in this country.
Haru and Utaha went on a date to a quiet cafe on the side of Tokyo town. He knew that this girl really hated crowded places and it seemed that Utaha also wanted to show her novel to him. That was why he decided to visit a quiet cafe that was also part of the Tootsuki group since he believed the food was great.
They sat next to each other since it was a bit cold.
"Why do you want to buy that much newspaper? Do you want to become a mogul?" Utaha asked. She wondered whether her boyfriend wanted to become a media tycoon. "Especially in that sparse area, the population in that area isn't much." She wasn't sure why he decided to buy in a remote place rather than in a very populated location such as Tokyo or Osaka.
Haru smiled and said, "Because I want to buy something there."
"Buy something?" Utaha was curious.
Haru thought for a while and said, "Do you know Bill Gates?"
Utaha nodded and said, "Of course, he is the richest man in the world. What's wrong with him?"
"Do you know the reason why he stepped down from the CEO of Microsoft?" Haru asked.
Utaha shook her head and asked, "I don't know."
"Because of a woman," Haru said.
"Women?" Utaha raised her eyebrow and seemed to be very interested.
"Yes, he has told his plan to a woman and that woman is telling Bill Gates's plan to her friends," Haru said.
Utaha raised her eyebrow and said, "Do you think that I'll do that?"
"No, you won't do that since you don't have a friend," Haru said.
Utaha was annoyed and pinched Haru's arm. "Do you love to play me that much?"
"It hurts! It hurts! I was joking." Haru had a painful expression on his face.
"If you don't want to tell me that is it okay," Utaha said while pouting.
"Who is going to say that I am not going to tell you?" Haru said.
"So what are you going to do?" Utaha asked.
"I want to buy an energy company," Haru said.
"Energy?" Utaha raised her eyebrows and said, "If I remember well there are 10 energy companies that are regulated in this country." She suddenly realized the prefecture that Haru had mentioned before. "Are you going to buy those companies?"
Haru nodded and said, "That's right. I might not have enough money to buy a Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), but it should be enough to buy in those areas." He thought that it was better to have something that was very stable since he also wanted his children to live very well and energy was perfect for it. He also didn't have an intention to buy TEPCO since it was a giant pit in 2011.
Utaha looked at Haru's confident expression and couldn't help but felt even more excited. She was afraid for him to waste his money, but it seemed that wasn't the case.
"It's for our children in the future so they can live very well," Haru said while holding Utaha's hand.
Utaha blushed and kissed him since she couldn't hold it anymore.
Haru accepted her kiss happily while hugging her waist.
Utaha looked at him with expectation and asked, "Can I help you with something?"
Haru nodded and said, "Of course, I want you to help me with something."
