Chapter 447: Si Mobai Lashes Out
Chapter 447: Si Mobai Lashes Out
Boom!
A loud splash could be heard as a great force crashed into the surface of the ocean, creating a whirlpool. Seawater rose up in waves over ten feet tall. The whole ocean surface was vibrating vigorously, waves swamping over each other like in a tsunami—which was extremely intimidating.
The ship that the hitmen came from was about three feet away from the ruckus, rolling wildly about in the waves. Even so, Tu Xiupei, who came up onto the deck, watched her nemesis, hugging the mast in utter excitement. "Haha! Feng Tianlan, you're dead. You're finally dead!"
"Woo! Woo! Woo!"
Upon hearing that sound, Tu Xiupei suddenly squinted her eyes at the horizon and grabbed Qi Shujie's hand. "Senior Brother, quickly! Jump into the sea! Quick."
Qi Shujie did not hesitate, he took Tu Xiupei in his arms and jumped into the whirlpool after the sinking ship. The remaining impact of the residual spiritual force slammed into them before they even reached the water.
Xiao Qing flapped its huge wings and rushed towards the whirlpool at its fastest possible speed. It began hooting anxiously, wanting to go into the whirlpool immediately to save its master.
"Xiao Qing, watch out!" Xi Jin shouted anxiously. But even he could not stop Xiao Qing from speeding up.
"Brother Jin!" Shen Yunya caught up from behind.
Bang!
Water splashed all over as a white figure ascended out of the whirlpool abruptly and stood in mid-air, glaring down at the vast ocean with his cold peach-blossom eyes.
Before Feng Tianlan fainted, she vaguely saw Xi Jin's figure and smelled a cooling mint fragrance. The familiar scent made her coil her arms instinctively around that person, at ease as she mumbled softly, "Brother Jin, Mobai..."
She tried to open her eyes to see whether that person was Brother Jin or Si Mobai. She hoped in her heart for that person to be Mobai.
"Lan'er, I'm here." Si Mobai lowered his head and kissed her wet forehead. His voice was trembling as he said, "It's alright now. Everything is fine."
"Woo!" After seeing the figure come out of the water, Xiao Qing rushed over to its master.
"Help!" Tu Xiupei was flailing on the surface of the water in the middle of the sea. She continued to sink into the water and float back up, repeatedly, thrashing.
Xi Jin caught sight of her and panicked, jumping straight into the sea to save Tu Xiupei without thinking about it. "Dai'er!"
Tu Xiupei felt hands lifting her up. She muttered in a sweet, seductive voice, "Brother Jin...I knew you would come to save me." Then, she passed out after saying those words.
"Dai'er!" Xi Jin carried Tu Xiupei in his arms as he floated in mid-air. Looking at her unconscious form, his warm eyes were suddenly filled with austerity. "Who was the one who hurt you? I will kill them all!"
"Brother Jin." Shen Yunya's eyes turned cold when she saw Xi Jin hugging Tu Xiupei. He actually dove into the sea to save another woman and held her close to his chest. This woman had to die!
Xi Jin did not notice her jealousy as he lifted Tu Xiupei up and charged at the hitmen. From a distance, he thought the white figure in mid-air looked rather familiar.
Si Mobai was carrying Feng Tianlan as he floated in mid-air like a deity. He glared down at the hitmen who were itching to make their escape, and spoke with words that were cold as ice, "Was it you who touched my Lan'er?"
"Wargod, she has nothing to do with you. Don't be a busybody! You are definitely no match for us." The hitmen stood their ground even though they were trembling in fear at his strong, imposing manner and the ice-cold voice.
The Wargod was as scary as a demon, but there was nothing for them to fear if it was just him alone. With over ten of them left, they could put their all into the fight and still be able to defeat him.
"Solemn Killing Order!" Si Mobai raised his ice-like peach-blossom eyes and roared, "Die!"
"How arrogant..."
Boom!
Tens of thousands of swords formed out of his spiritual force showered down like raindrops from the sky. The hitmen didn't even have a chance to defend themselves. The hail of swords pierced through their bodies like needles on pincushions and they fell from the air into the sea.
