Chapter 44: Because I Really Wanted To Kiss You...
Lu Qiang was talking to business associates when he saw Jiang Yuyan leave the hall.
After ending the conversation, he went to accompany Lu Lijun. It was then he saw An Bixun saunter towards him with wine glasses in hand and a broad smile. He pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed deeply.
He suddenly thought of something and turned to his cousin Wang Peng to accompany Lu Lijun until he returned He got up from his seat and took his leave.
Lu Qiang headed to the door Jiang Yuyan had disappeared through. He reached the lawn and saw her alone in a distance, facing away from him. When he reached the structure, he stopped a couple of steps from her, not wanting to startle her.
Seeing Lu Qiang move out of the hall, An Bixun followed him out with the glasses of wine in her hand.
Jiang Yuyan was stunned to see him standing beside her when she turned. She had just succeeded in her efforts to clear her mind and he had made that exercise all in vain.
"What are you doing here?" she asked.
"That's not important. Just tell me if you can see the woman behind me," he said it in hurry, ignoring Jiang Yuyan's question.
She moved her sight from his face to behind him. There was a woman in a blue c.o.c.ktail dress coming in their direction.
"Yes! A woman in a blue dress is coming in our direction." She said and kept staring in the direction of the woman.
"How far is she? I mean can she see us clearly?"
"Yes." She was still busy observing the woman instead of looking at Lu Qiang.
"Don't move a muscle," he warned, stepping forward. She moved her eyes to him when she heard him to understand what he meant but was surprised when a pair of soft and warm lips covered hers. Her eyes widened in shock as she tried to push him away, but he held her close, tightly. There was no comparison between their strengths.
Realizing her protest, he leaned away from her and dotingly said, "I told you not to move." His lips ghosted over hers, making her mind go blank and her breathing heavy. Before she could say anything, he kissed her again. This time, she didn't resist. She closed her eyes and let him kiss her. She unconsciously started to like it, moving her hands to the lapel of his jacket.
When he felt her lack of resistance, the gentleness eased into a passion. He tightened his grip on her waist and pulled her closer, leaving no space between them.
Seeing him kissing the girl, An Bixun was so shocked that her glasses slipped from her hand, shattering on the grass. He continued with his onslaught, not paying attention to the sound. Heartbroken and teary-eyed, the girl turned around and dashed out of the lawn.
Her actions were ignored by the two who passionately kissed. A few minutes later, the two stopped, and he gently rested his forehead on hers, his breathing heavy and heart pounding erratically.
Her lips parted as she gasped for breath. Realizing it had ended, she opened her moist eyes to look at him. He had the ghost of a smile on his face, making her stare at him, unable to comprehend what had happened.
In reality, he was controlling himself. He didn't want to take advantage of the situation and make her hate him. At the time, he wanted to make the atmosphere normal so he had chosen this way of teasing her.
He looked into her miserable eyes, still holding her close to himself and asked "What? Do you want more?" She moved away quickly. He stood in the same spot, his hands inside his pockets. "I don't mind continuing, but I fear your lips will bleed." He moved his sight from her eyes to her lips, which were completely swollen.
"W-why did you...?" she felt out of breath and couldn't complete her sentence.
"What did I do?" He asked, the corner of his lips moving upward. He was calm and composed, the complete opposite of hers.
"K-kiss!"
"There are three reasons for my action. First, I wanted to get rid of that woman. Second, I wanted to repay your kindness, and third, I really wanted to kiss you again." There was no trace of guilt or hesitation in his voice.
