Chapter 3792: Desert

"They should be able to deal with it," I thought as I looked at three people, fighting a sandworm.

They are not weak; all three of them are a Peak Earth Sovereign, but their enemy isn't weak. The sandworm had a think later defensive skin over its body, that made most of their attacks on it obsolete.

'It seemed like, the disturbance had disturbed these sandworms too,' I thought and moved away.

It had been one and a half months since I had left sourus city and nearly two weeks since I was running through this desert. Something had happened two weeks ago, creating spatial disturbance across the large area.

It is not enough to be dangerous, but enough to mess up with teleportation gates.

My destination is Yiru city. The information I had brought said the teleportation gates there are working. They better be, because I don't want to delay my journey anymore.

A few minutes passed, and I saw another group. This time, as it is Sovereigns.

Usually, the desert is empty, but in the past week, news of spatial disturbance throwing out treasures spread across the city. That made primary to Sky Sovereign to skim the desert.

I don't know if any of it is true, but I did see things like walls and parts of trees, here and there. Those things shouldn't be in the desert, but they are.

I don't care much about them and hope, they won't care much about me.

I just want to reach yiru city as soon as possible and take the teleportation gate from there. As it would take me nearly a month to reach my destination.

Four hours passed and my clone was handling my body, when I took back control to admire the harsh beauty of the desert.

The afternoon sun was blazing hot enough to make Sovereign sweat. I am well protected and cool and rather enjoying the harsh beauty of nature. It made me feel relaxed, help with frustration, I am feeling at work.

Most of the places I go are filled with greenery; rarely did I come across a place as barren as this.

Hurr!

A few more minutes passed when suddenly a huge sandworm came out of the sand. It is huge, so much; that it could eat several people of my size in a single bite.

I looked at it but didn't stop. It didn't sense me, nor it is attacking me. There is no need for me to attack it.

Though it might not have sensed me, it had sensed others and moved toward them. I looked for a moment, but didn't do anything; those two are more than strong enough to finish it off.

A few more hours passed, and the night clouded the sky. I kept moving while many who came to the desert in search of fortune decided to rest.

I could see the abodes in every direction my soul waves moved. Cloaked in multiple stealth formations. Not a single one could compare to my abode; may be there, but it is good enough that even my soul sense couldn't find it.

I continued throughout the night, stopping only at past midnight to practice and eat, before moving again.

The second day came, and I continued moving, even when the night came.

However, unlike the night before, I stopped at ten. To cover more distance, I decided to sleep every night. I don't usually do this, but I need to cover as much as distance and reach yiru city as soon as possible.

Step!

I entered the abode and the first thing I was showered. As I came out of it, I ate the sumptuous dinner my clone had cooked, before sleeping.

I didn't even visit my core.

Five hours later, I woke up without feeling even a hint of tiredness.

I quickly freshened up and ate before practicing the methods. I never stopped to practice the methods. I would not rest, but I would practice.

Every day, I would advance further in my path. The improvements are slight, but they are visible and steady. In just a few months after the breakthrough, I have made massive progress. If others were to see it, they would be shocked.

The methods are amazing, but some credit goes to me too.

I have constantly used the formula of the solutions. Making them stronger and more efficient.

These days, I really feel grateful to Jim, the old man and other people who taught me the alchemy. If not for it, I wouldn't have been progressing at the speed, I am.

In two hours, I practiced both of the methods. After resting for a minute, I took a shower and laid down on the couch.

A moment later, I am at my core. The most wonderful place there is.

I didn't immediately go to the library. Instead, I walked toward the stone vat, filled with light purple oil.

In the bottle of the vat is yellowish dough with a lot of tiny holes in it. From them, a bubble would occasionally come out.

The doubt might not seem much, but it is made of countless precious materials, including the cloud tar soil. I had worked on it for nearly two months and for the past four months, it was in the vat.

'It is going to take a few months more,' I said, looking at the thing.

Artifice isn't easy or quick. It is a good thing, I have a core with time dilution, or it would have been far more difficult for me.

The dough will remain in the vat for a few more months, till all the yellow color disappears from it. Once it is done; I would start the final process to forge it into the breakthrough formation it is.

It will be amazing.

I shook my thoughts and walked into the library; there I started to work on my inheritance. I have been a kind of stuck on a problem for the past few weeks; it is quite a big problem. I had decided to focus on it, while my clones worked on other parts.

Bip!

I was working on it when suddenly I heard the sound from my abode and immediately opened my eyes.
