Chapter 319: The Seductive Nyla And Her Playful Retaliation

It was evident that they were willing to set aside their differences and find a way to coexist harmoniously, all for the sake of the man they both cherished. Rio was stunned by the development; he had expected clashes and bickering since both women were equally important in his life.

They were both his first loves - one when he had memories, and the other when his memories were sealed. Their understanding and love for Rio filled his heart with warmth, and his respect for both women soared. He wanted to kiss them both right then, but he knew it wasn't the right time.

Layla and Lia exchanged glances, realizing that they needed some time alone to discuss their new situation.

Turning to Rio and Nyla, Lia gently requested, "Husband, Nyla, could you please give us some time alone? We'd like to talk privately."

Rio raised an eyebrow, puzzled by their request, but he agreed. "Okay, Wifey. We'll give you two ladies some space. Just call me when you're done." With a nod, Rio and Nyla left the room, closing the door behind them.

Nyla was rather happy that they had been asked to leave, as she could now be with Rio and find out what had happened on Haven Island. She knew from Lia that the boy had gone on a mission to search for Layla, but she didn't know all the details.

Previously, Lia had asked her to wait for their arrival, and Nyla hadn't used telepathy to ask Rio where he was earlier, as she didn't want to disturb him.

As they walked away, Rio and Nyla headed to Helia's bedroom where she was resting. The lioness had been worried about Rio's whereabouts, and the duo wanted to put her mind at ease and have a conversation together.

Upon seeing that Helia was awake, Rio and Nyla took a seat on the couch in her room. Helia joined them by taking a seat opposite them. Rio began recounting the tale, detailing his confrontation with his grandfather and the revelation of his true lineage.

Both Helia and Nyla listened with surprising expressions and amazement flickered in their eyes, struggling to comprehend the twists and turns of fate that had befallen the boy.

Nyla's eyes widened in disbelief as she exclaimed, "No way! You're telling me that you're the biological heir of the Havenglow family, and it was your own grandfather who separated you from Layla?

This is like a story straight out of a novel, or maybe even a fairy tale!

Fate has really been playing a cruel joke on you all this time." The girl was drowned in shock as she was still trying to wrap her head around the revelation.

Helia, who had been listening intently, whispered softly, "Now Layla and Lia must adapt to this new reality, as they are both his first loves. I hope their conversation helps them find a way to live together peacefully, for his sake."

Rio sat on the opposite couch, observing Helia's quiet mumbling. He could sense that she was still hesitant to close the distance between them, even though she had developed feelings for him.

The boy decided to let time and fate take its course, allowing their bond to grow naturally without forcing it. After all, he already had four women in his life to care for, and each one was important to him.

The two girls pondered recent events and they couldn't help but speculate about the future for Rio, Layla, and Lia, given the complexities of their new situation.

As Rio finished recounting his story, Nyla and Helia exchanged words while he remained uninterested.

He sent a telepathic message to Lia, asking, "Are you two beauties finished talking?"

Lia's voice echoed in his mind a moment later, "Husband, give us a bit more time."

Rio sighed inwardly and turned to Nyla, "I'm going to take a shower..."

Nyla's face brightened as she gave Rio a seductive smile and purred, "Why take a boring shower alone when you have me, sweetie?"

Her eyes glinted with mischief as she added, "I could help you wash your back... and front, and every other part of you."

Rio's eyebrows furrowed at Nyla's bold suggestion. He glanced over at Helia, whose cheeks had already turned pink from their conversation.

But the shameless Nyla just laughed and continued with a sultry tone, "I promise to be gentle... or not, if you prefer."

Her playful and suggestive demeanor made it clear that she was interested in more than just washing his back. Rio tried to maintain his composure, but Nyla's flirtatious advances were so open and wild.

Despite his best efforts to maintain his calmness, Rio couldn't help but feel a bit amused by Nyla's boldness. He shook his head in disbelief, wondering how he had gotten himself into this situation.

As he was about to reply, Nyla leaned in closer and whispered in his ear, "Come on, sweetie, you know you want to. After all, I'm your devoted wife who will give my life to satisfy all your needs."

Rio shot her a glare, his amusement fading, as he truly wanted to take the shower alone and think everything through. Nyla's persistent flirtations were making it increasingly difficult for him to focus on the complicated situation at hand.

Nyla caught the hint from Rio's reaction and understood that he needed some space to think things through. In retaliation, she puffed her cheeks in a cute manner and returned to her conversation with Helia.

The Lioness observed their cute interactions, noticing the absence of romantic feelings or any hope of ever having one in Rio's eyes for her. She couldn't blame him for that, though.

While Helia knew Rio cared for her and had probably forgiven her, she couldn't detect any love in his gaze like the one he had for his other wives. On the other hand, Helia's heart had been won over by the boy's kind nature that he had shown from the very first day they had met.
