Chapter 241: A Small Dragon Who Cannot Speak His Name

"Thump, thump, thump!"

Creak!

William entered after knocking. He was afraid Moses might eat the dragon egg by either frying or barbecuing it.

How could William be left out of such a delicacy? If Moses were to eat the egg in secret without leaving some for William, Moses would have gone too far.

"Bah, it's wrong! Why do we have to eat the dragon egg?" William opened the door and glanced at the kitten sentry. Then he entered the alternate dimension.

"Meow?" The black kitten was befuddled. What? Even William was treating the kitten as non-existent?

Didn't William use to greet the kitten?

William was shocked when he entered the alternate dimension...

Previously, the alternate dimension used to be filled with bookshelves and laboratory

apparatuses.

But they were now gone.

Instead, in their place, there was a barbecue pit. Inside it was a dragon egg that had been cooking for an indeterminate time.

"Illusion." William rubbed his eyes.

But In the next second, he realized that it was not an illusion.

Moses was sitting on a chair floating in mid-air. He flicked his hand to rotate the dragon egg, ensuring that it was barbecued evenly.

William frowned. He held no more hopes for the dragon egg as it had been toasted red. It was almost at the point of being completely cooked. It was too late to make his complaint.

"Oh! What took you so long to remember about the egg. You're late. The egg is almost cooked. "Too bad, I can't have the egg all to myself," Moses said and yawned.

William was speechless.

But he activated his insight!

[Dragon egg] [Attribute: ???]

[Quality: Legendary]

[Position Level: None]

(State: Extremely high temperature]

(State: Incubation process]

"What?" William opened his eyes widely. "Must it be incubated by fire? The Fire Dragon's eggs are all red in color, but this egg is a bit black. Is that a Black Dragon's egg?"

The Black Dragons here in 'Gods' were different from those in 'Dungeons and Dragon'. They did not spit acid, and their main mode of attack involved the Dark elements.

Moses glanced at William and laughed. Then he said, "You can see that the egg is incubating? just now, did you have the thought of killing me?"

"No, no. If you want to cook it, I'll have a taste of it..." William frowned. How could a Dragon be compared to Moses? William was still able to weigh the priorities!

"What kind of a Dragon is this?" William was curious. This Dragon was not a Fire Dragon, but still, it required fire for incubation. The creature must be aligned with the fire element.

Perhaps, the creature possessed other abilities besides aligning with the fire element. Otherwise, it would not have been kept as a treasure in the vault.

"Who knows? It must be a mutant Dragon. Once it hatches, we'll know." Moses glanced at William and continued. "When the young Dragon hatches, it will shout out its true name. Don't give it a chance. Use Soul Control and give it another name."

"Is it feasible?" William asked. Would a Dragon who could not shout out its name not be emasculated?

"No problem. A Dragon shouts its real name to recall its memory inheritance. Once you control this one, there will be no harm in giving it another name.

"I'll make use of the opportunity to extract its memory inheritance. Then I'll make some changes before giving the memory inheritance back to the Dragon." Moses nonchalantly said, but William was scared stiff.

What was that?

William glanced at the dragon egg that was a few meters in height.

How could Moses do such a thing to William's cute little Dragon?

However, William did not pose any objections.

Moses made use of the magical flames to barbecue the egg. William glanced at the woodpile that was burning. He recognized the wood.

"Tsk, tsk. You're generous. You're using the sycamore trees of the Phoenix as firewood." William thought that the sycamore wood was very expensive. As besides the ones found at the native breeding places of the Phoenix, it was rare to find sycamore trees in the wild.

The sycamore wood was invaluable to fire element professionals. As long as a sycamore tree could be found, several Legendary fire element equipment could be made easily.

"Isn't it a coincidence? I know of a wild sycamore tree, but a creature resides on the tree. It's a dragon beast with the bloodline of the Fire Dragons. It's powerful but not as strong as the Phoenix and Great Dragons." William was thinking about the location of the tree when he heard strange sounds.

Crack!

Crack!

Crack!

The dragon egg that had been engulfed by the flames started to show cracks.

A jet black sharp claw tore open the eggshell, and a small creature popped his head out of the crack.

Two of them watched silently. Moses gradually extinguished the magical flames while witnessing the birth of a Dragon.

Crack!

Crack!

A black Dragon's head with two horns appeared.

The small Dragon emotionlessly watched the two of them with his yellow pupils. Then he used all his effort to squirm out of the eggshell.

Plop!

The small Dragon fell on the ground.

He shook his naked body and lifted his head to look at the huge eggshell. Two strands of white mists appeared from its nose...

He was very angry.

The small Dragon was furious that he could not eat such a large egg.

He wagged his tail and bit on the egg!

Crack!

The super tough eggshell almost broke his teeth. The infuriated small Dragon started its war dance against the shell.

The small Dragon charged up the eggshell with all its might. He had the intention to eat the egg.

William and Moses looked at each other. They were puzzled!

What the heck?

A five-meter tall dragon egg?

But it gave birth to a 50 centimeter tall small Black Dragon?

Was there a mistake?

"Erm, are there more small Dragons in the

egg?"

"What do you think?" Moses did not know the answer. Nobody knew how such a large egg could give birth to a little trash.

The most puzzling thing was...

This small Black Dragon did not shout out his true name. Instead, he was trying to eat the eggshell...

William was in a daze. And since he was not in a hurry, he could wait.

Therefore, he was patient as a day and a night passed.

It was only then that the small Black Dragon finished eating the five-meter tall eggshell. It then lay down motionless on the ground with its bloated stomach. He was no different from the well-fed swine at home.

The only difference was that the swine did not have wings...

"Little fellow, don't you have a real name?" William picked up a sycamore branch and poked at the small Black Dragon.

"Ao!" The small Black Dragon turned his head and bit on the sycamore branch.

Crack!

The small Black Dragon opened his mouth in pain. There were three teeth stuck on the sycamore branch...

"MD, I'll control it first. Even if he's a moronic Dragon, it's still a Dragon." William used Soul Control on the small Dragon.

The small Black Dragon felt its soul ripping from the body before it snapped back inside.

At this time, the small and fearful Dragon opened its eyes widely at both of them...

Hmmm...

Something was different. The Dragon was supposed to be their God, and both of them should have been servants who provided food!

"Why is this happening?

"Why is a servant revolting against the master?

"And the servant is asking me to shout out my name?

"Preposterous!

"How can I shout when the eggshells are stuck in my throat?

"Ao, ao, ao, ao!

"Dad and mum, the servants are revolting. Please bring a Dragon army and kill off these insolent servants!"
