Chapter 1275: Perception and Singularity

Chapter 1275 Perception and Singularity

<In a way, yes. All matter in the Universe, or rather All matter in the Realm of Matter has a Spirit and an Intelligence.>

<However, even with that they are never truly just more than what they are. It all depends on the size of the Spirit and Intelligence>

<You need a lot of Energy condensed into one place to create a Spirit that can create an Intelligence large enough to think for itself.>

<Otherwise, they are just nothing more at all.>

"But large amounts of Energy in a concentrated area can create spirits strong enough to matter, right?" he asked. "I can see that there are things like mountain spirit or lake spirit, are those the size you need? That massive?"

<Spirits of mountains and seas are a little different at the fact that they are like Wills. They need the perception of the living to create a spirit like that. Without those perceptions, the mountain and seas can never be a single object and will thus forever be something small with its own tiny spirit and irrelevant knowledge.>

Ning thought about what the system said for a bit and was surprised.

"They're like Wills?" he asked. "It's not categorized as Will in my knowledge."

<They are the closest spirits as one can be to a Will. They have similar powers but on a smaller scale.>

<Of course, they also don't have as stringent requirements as Will has to form. Will need not only the perception of many of the beings with souls to view them, but also need a lot of Unique energy as well as an Origin to form.>

"Hmm." He had always known about the 3 requirements for Wills, but he had never expected something like that to exist for other forms of spirits as well.

"Can mountain ranges be spirits too?" he asked. "I mean, does the increase in Energy have any bearing on the amount of perception that is required to create a spirit of the mountain range?"

<Larger size does impact it a bit, but not as much. If there are enough perceptions of a mountain range as a whole and not just the mountain, you will find it forming a spirit.>

<Of course, this is not always the case. Just having perception doesn't mean they will always create spirits. There also needs to be that opening where Spirits don't exist inside the matter.>

<Since most weaker spirits get destroyed on their own before forming another one immediately, it would require the moment where enough of them are destroyed for the Mountain or Sea's spirit to become real.>

"Makes sense," Ning said, moving on to the next part of the question. "Why perception? What is it about perception that creates these souls? Even Wills."

<There is no answer to that question. There is no answer to why perception matters in the creation of many of the spirits>

<All that can be certain is the fact that it has most likely something to do with the fact that Souls are the original spirits.>

<Other than that, it is possible that it requires the attention of something that exists. Something that is existing through the Triangle of Existence and has enough conscience to care about something other than itself.>

<However, none of the answers are accurate, and one can only guess why the perception of a living being matters at all>

"Wouldn't the creator of the Energy System know?" Ning asked. "He made the system, so he should have some idea, right? Why would a Soul cause perception to matter?"

<The Creator does not know.>

"Even though he made something so great as the Energy system?" he asked. "Does he not know how souls work?"

<The Creator came into existence after the Omniverse had already formed. When the creator was formed, Energy, Soul, and Matter were things that had existed.>

<The Realms of Matter constantly begin and ends everywhere, so the Creator has had the opportunity to observe them>

<The Creator has always known about Energy, but he never managed to learn much about souls other than what the Creator observed.>

"So he really doesn't know about anything regarding this matter, huh?" he asked. "Then I guess we can move on from this question, but I have one more to ask."

"You once told me that the Creator lives outside the infinite. Is that... the Omniverse?" he asked.

<Infinite refers to the many Realms of Matter that are constantly made and destroyed. The Creator lives in the Realm of Energy that is just one and all.>

"And the Realm of Souls is the same, right?" he asked.

<The Realm of Souls is also the same as the Realm of Energy, just one and all.>

Ning thought for a bit, trying to go back to questioning souls and memories, but there seemed something else that he desperately needed to understand.

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but if all Matter, Space, and even Time is made up of Energy, then... the Realm of Matter, or as we know it as a Universe, is in contact with the Realm of Energy somehow, right?"

"Maybe not surrounded by the Realm of Energy, but at least in contact," he said. "How else could Realm of Matter form from Energy?"

<You are indeed correct. Universes are surrounded by the Realm of Energy. Or more accurately, in places where Energy is concentrated very highly in the Realm of Energy, they collapse onto themselves before spreading out to form Realms of Matter>

"Woah!" Ning couldn't help but say in surprise. "That's how they are created?"

'A large amount of energy collapsing onto itself...' he thought. 'The moment at the end of the Collapse, I wonder if that's what they call the singularity that burst forth to create the universe.'

This made him have another question, but that would have to wait in line, right in front of the questions about Souls and Systems.

"If the Universes are surrounded by Energy, how come they are also surrounded by Souls as well in such a way that they can come in and out easily?" he asked.

<That is because the Realm of Souls surrounds them as well.>

<The Realm of Souls and the Realm of Energy overlap each other and exist in basically the same spot.>
