Chapter 1074: I Have Something To Tell You...

The entire day passed by while working for Lu Lian and Ming Rusheng. Ming Rusheng was gone for two days, so he had to work more while Lu Lian was busy handling other things with endless meetings.

Finally, the day was over, and everyone was ready to return home. Lu Lian finished her work and was about to leave, but Ming Rusheng's assistant stopped her outside her office.

"Ms. Lu, Mr. Ming asked for the file regarding the last meeting.

Lu Lian went inside and returned with the file, but the assistant was not there. She looked around and realized everyone had left; even the reception area was empty.

She looked at the file in her hand and decided to get to Ming Rusheng herself.

She knocked on Ming Rusheng's office door, but there was no reply. Opening the door, she peeked inside the office, but Ming Rusheng's chair was empty.

"Mr. Ming?" she called.

Still, there was no reply.

"Seems like he left," she concluded and entered the office to keep the file on his table.

The moment she stepped inside, the door was closed, and she was pushed against it. Startled, she was about to scream, but before that, a hand covered her mouth.

With shocking eyes, she looked at the man in front of her who stared at her.

"Did I scare you?" Ming Rusheng asked.

Lu Lian glared at him, not being able to answer as his hand still covered her mouth.

Ming Rusheng didn't mind her glare, and neither did he expect her to answer as he didn't let her go.

"Did you miss me?" he asked, finally taking his hand off and allowing her to talk.

"Why would I?" she said and held the file in front of his chest, "The file Mr. Ming asked."

Ming Rusheng smirked, knowing why such a reaction from her. He held the file, which landed on the floor the next moment.

"Seems like I have upset you," he commented.

"As usual delusional," Lu Lian frowned, trying to move from his hold.

Ming Rusheng held her back tightly and stared into her eyes intently, to which she couldn't resist.

"Do you know how difficult it was to hold back from not coming to you the entire day when you were in front of me?"

Lu Lian acted as if she didn't understand what he meant.

"I know why you are upset, but if I hadn't stopped myself, I don't know what I have done with you till now," he explained, "I was just waiting when we would be alone."

Lu Lian understood and let her guards down by letting her hands go, which rested on his chest to stop him from getting closer to her.

Ming Rusheng caressed her cheek, "Now tell me, did you miss me?"

"I was busy working," she replied, looking at him but hesitant to accept she missed him; she didn't say no either.

Ming Rusheng got his answer and kissed her the next moment. Only two days passed by, but he felt like an eternity and missed her like crazy.

Sucking and nibbling her lips gently as Lu Lian responded to him, Ming Rusheng cupped her face in his palm. After Mr. Wong's home incident, it was the first time when the two kissed with no hatred for each other.

Lu Lian circled her arms around his neck while Ming Rusheng held her tightly at the waist. The two kissed as their hearts filled with love for each other.

Ming Rusheng parted away while panting and continued what they left unspoken.

"But I missed you every moment," saying he leaned closer and whispered in her ear as his moist lips coated with saliva brushed her earlobes. "Especially in the nights when I was alone....."

"Cough! I didn't miss you," she declared, scared to listen to what he was about to say further.

"Are you embarrassed?" he asked, still holding her closer, "Don't tell me you didn't think about me...."

"I-I didn't. I sleep faster the moment I lay in bed," she countered as her face looked flushed.

"I didn't mention missing me when you go to bed," Ming Rusheng commented, "But now I know you...."

Before Ming Rusheng could say a word further, embarrassed Lu Lian held his suit's collar and kissed him.

How could Ming Rusheng resist it when his woman herself offered him. He kissed her hungrily, letting his tongue taste her cavern. His coarse tongue rolled with her soft one making her gasp for the air.

Lu Lian tried to keep up with him, but when she couldn't breathe, and the man in front of her seemed to care less, she bit his lips.

"Ahh.... he whined, "This cat loves to bite..." He commented, caressing his hurt lower lip with a thumb.

Lu Lian didn't deny it and asked, "Were you shocked? Be careful of this cat."

"I know better ways to shock you. Do you want to try?" he asked, sliding his hand along her thigh, "Shall we?"

Just then, Lu Lian's cellphone rang, but Ming Rusheng didn't seem to care.

"Let me check who it is," she requested.

Ming Rusueng nodded slightly, and Lu Lian pulled out the cell phone from her pant's pocket.

Seeing the name flashed on the screen, the air around Ming Rusheng turned cold, and Lu Lian sensed it.

'Wen Zac, why did he call?' She wondered.

The moment she looked at Ming Rusheng, the cellphone in her hand was thrown away, and she was lifted in the air just to be tossed on the couch in the office.

"It's not what you think," she said as Ming Rusheng hovered over her.

Ignoring her words, he spoke, "Don't receive calls from other men and don't even talk to them."

"He is your friend and..."

"He is my friend, not yours," came the cold reply that scared Lu Lian.

"Why are you like this?" she asked.

Ming Rusheng didn't answer and kissed her aggressively as he pinned her hands above her head.

This time Lu Lian was not into it. She had feelings for him, but she didn't know what Ming Rusheng felt for her. Even before they had been close like this, but Ming Rusheng showed it didn't matter to him.

She didn't respond to the kiss, and he looked at her.

"Why are we doing this?" she asked.

Ming Rusheng stared at her and realized she had no reason to listen to him as he never told her about his feelings.

Ming Rusheng moved back and sat on the sofa after helping her sit up.

"I'm sorry," he said.

Lu Lian expected him to say something different, but she got disappointment in return.

'Seems like I'm the only one to feel that way,' she thought.

Sighing, she brushed off other thoughts, thinking he must need more time.

"Why did you go to France?" Lu Lian asked, intending to change the topic.

"To do something important."

"Did it go well?"

"Hmm."

"Why did you ask me to wait for you?"

"Because it felt good to say it."

She nodded lightly, accepting what he would say, and stood up, "It's late. I need to go home," and turned to leave.

Ming Rusheng stood up and back hugged her, "I have something to tell you."
