Chapter 3849: Retreat
Over seven hours passed since the battle began. I don't know when it will end.
The primes are fighting above with Grimm Prime having an edge, but the second Prime is defending well. She is fighting the way she fought the first minute. She had arrived here.
It made me feel relieved. If she had lost the edge, then I would have been really worried about my safety, as now I couldn't escape.
It was a good thing I had abandoned my plan to escape after the second Prime arrived. One Earth Sovereign tried to do it; he was vaporized, and not even his artifact had remained.
The Prime had no mercy for the deserters; he would kill anyone who would try to escape.
I am fighting, killing every Grimm, I come across. Some are powerful, some are weak. Some are getting killed in seconds, while others are powerful enough that I would need to summon the shields before even clashing.
My strength had taken an enormous leap in the past seven hours, but there are still many Grimms here, that could kill me.
Those are extremely dangerous, and I rather not fight. Thankfully, they are engaged in fighting against those equally good as them and there are many more they could fight before they came at me.
Still, I have prepared for them, and one small part of my mind wants them to come at me.
Usually, the battle in the real world does not last more than twelve hours. They like to finish the battle quickly and leave with the spoils before the reinforcements come, but here they seemed to be in no hurry at all.
Likely because there would be no reinforcements beyond what they have prepared for.
They have brought numbers, and there seemed to be barely any change in their numbers.
I do not mind fighting long; it is beneficial to me, but I like our leaders strong. Here, they are not; our Prime was barely surviving against the Grimm and if not for reinforcement, he would have been killed.
I think the Grimm Prime had made a mistake here. It should have been satisfied with Prime, but it got greedy.
It wanted to kill the two of them and waited for the second one before revealing its power.
Now, it is having a hard time, killing the second Prime. The battles hadn't ended and if it was able to kill the second Prime; I am going to run away. I won't care about the vaporizing attack of the Prime.
I turned to the enemies; I was fighting. The three Hyenaman; didn't have a bloodline, but they were powerful.
I am close to dealing with them and once that happened. I would be free to target those with the bloodline. There are so many of them here; I had killed a lot of them, but I want more.
The Grimms of bloodline are enemies that kept giving as long as I continued to kill them. They have transformed my core, but there are still many things they could do. I will continue to kill them as long as I am fighting.
Hun!
A few minutes passed, and I finished with three and now fighting against the one with the bloodline, when I sensed something.
I looked up for a moment and there seemed to be no chance, but there was. I could see it through the data in front of me. The Grimm's attacks had become stronger; it had happened before, but there seemed to be a finality in it.
If I am not wrong, the Grimm Prime is likely using all its strength or near all its strength.
I might be wrong; I am not Prime and didn't have as much data, I liked to make the correct assumption.
Still, I think, I am not wrong, while the Primes are different from Sovereigns. Some things are the same.
I focused on the enemy in front of me and soon killed him, before moving toward another with the bloodline. I need to get my hands on as many of them as possible; I will need all the strength they could give me if things were to turn dangerous.
Hun!
A few minutes later, my expression changed a little. Once again Rev had fallen in trouble with a powerful enemy.
He had fought against many powerful ones and came out victorious, but this time, the enemy was strong. I don't know if he could come out unscathed.
He is still far away from me and helping him would be risky. Still, I decided to watch for a while. If the condition becomes worse, I will move to help him.
A few minutes passed, and he was still fighting. His condition is the same, which is good news; the enemy might be strong, but he is holding it back, just like the second prime is doing above.
The Grimm Prime is using all kinds of attacks, but she is defending without losing.
Two and a half minutes later, I finished off the enemy and moved toward another, when I suddenly stopped.
I looked forward toward Grimm. A Bearman is very powerful. Even with shields, I might not be its match and it is looking at me.
The only reason, I have not shitted my pants, is that it is still fighting. The human woman it is fighting is no weaker than it. Still, I don't like being stared at by the Grimms, as powerful as this one.
If it defeated the woman; it might come for me. I don't want such a thing to happen; it would be terrible for me.
Hun!
I took a deep breath and was about to move toward my opponent when I stopped and looked up. The Grimm and the Prime had separated.
They had done it a few times. So, I didn't dare to guess anything, but I watched cautiously. As anything they do will have a tremendous effect on my survival.
Seconds passed, and the three of them kept staring at each other without speaking. Soon, ten seconds passed; it was the longest they separated before leaping to fight.
Seeing that, many natives and Grimms stopped fighting and looked up at their leaders.
"Retreat!"
